Most of us, as customers and clients, usually know our professional providers only by the products and services they offer. And, of course, the QuadStar Group is all about real estate. But, if you’d like to know a little more about US, here’s the place… One boring day in 1977 I was reading the Wall Street Journal (trying to make a buck in the stock market) and found a full-page ad written by a real estate guru of that time – Mark O. Haroldsen. He told his story about how he had learned to buy real estate as an investment, fix up old property to increase it’s value, and rent or sell for profit. The things he said made a lot of sense (about our financial lives) and he was offering his book, “How to Wake Up the Financial Genius Inside You” for $11.00. I bought his book that day and a few months later moved to I liked how real estate was very “real” and tangible. And that I could have a very direct impact on the property’s value by improving its condition, which would increase its appeal to other people who would use the property to live in or possibly buy it. I learned some basic, valuable lessons, such as “the meeting of needs.” Find out what someone wants/needs, and then find a way to help them get it. In return, they will often let you make/keep more of the other profits or benefits in a deal. And they will appreciate you helping them succeed. Well, over the years I had a demanding “high-tech” career that kept me investing in real estate only on a part-time basis. But I learned a lot over the years. And a number of years ago, I put the high-tech field behind me. So my opportunity to fulfill my real estate dreams came to life! I have always enjoyed helping people solve their problems. And I involved my family in my real estate endeavors over the years. My son Brian used to help me fix up properties and collect rent. And, now my daughter Natalie is handling our marketing and database maintenance - in addition to functioning as our Office Assistant. Recently Dana Thompson joined us as an Office Assistant and potential Leasing Agent / Buyer’s Agent. And our Transaction Coordinator, Dwain Reams, helps all of us keep everything on track. We’ve also put together an aliance with a professional property management team so we’re able to handle all of your investing needs. And, of course, for those who want to sell or buy a home to live in – we “gotcha covered", too!
